1. What is AstraQom International?

We are a client-centric business VoIP provider and forward-thinking online business solutions. We specialize in small and medium businesses, and provide VoIP services such as Hosted VoIP PBX, Toll Free Numbers, Virtual Receptionist, Local VoIP Numbers from around the globe, CRM integrations and many more. We are part of the AstraQom International brand, a global VoIP provider with headquarters in Silicon Valley which covers over 50 countries and owns subsidiaries in Canada, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

2. What’s the difference between an answering service and a virtual receptionist service?

An answering service is a broad term that includes any type of “virtual assistance”, from incoming call center inquiries to remote executive assistants. Thus, a virtual receptionist is one type of answering service that usually deals with answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate persons in a company, message taking, appointment setting, etc. This is an extremely useful tool for small companies, relieving them from paying a full time on-site receptionist.

3. What hours are receptionists available?

Thanks to our global coverage, service is offered 24/7, our customers having the possibility to choose any 8-hour timeframe for their calls to be answered by a virtual receptionist.

4. Where are the receptionists located?

Our virtual receptionists are based in various countries and working around the clock to cover the needs of all our subsidiaries.

5. What is a CRM & ERP system and how is this service helpful for a business?

CRM & ERP – related services are system integrations, also known as Computer Telephony Integrations (CTI). AstraQom integrates (“links”) its Hosted PBX platform with various CRM systems, such as SuiteCRM, SugarCRM, vTiger, Sage etc. Having an integrated phone and CRM system streamlines a company’s processes and increases efficiency by eliminating manual work and possible human errors. For example, the CRM Integration will link the phone number of a caller with the corresponding Contact in the CRM and show a popup window when the call is received (so the person answering the phone no longer has to search for the customer’s account), creates a call log entry automatically in CRM, enables a user to call a CRM Contact by simply clicking on its phone number, etc.

6.Do you have plans for the future?

We are currently preparing to launch another two VoIP provider subsidiaries in Malta and South Africa and, later this year, we will also open a new AstraQom business in Ireland. Our plan is to go up to 20 subsidiaries all over the world in the next 5 years. From a product and services perspective, we would like to focus on integrating our Hosted PBX services with as many platforms used by businesses today.
